Become part
of the HABITAT of the future
An attractive urban district with its own ecosystem is being born on the land of what was originally an industrial area - connecting people, homes, urban fauna and flora, as well as modern technology in a fascinating kaleidoscope of life.
Optimal space for living
Searching for an optimal living space is an important part of existence for every organism. But for a person in the city, it is often a matter of finding compromises and choosing one's own home.
Today, the demand for housing can no longer be satisfied by monofunctional housing estates with services limited to one self-service. Accompanied by a burning compromise, which forces one to run away somewhere else in the hot summer, because there are no trees in the vicinity under whose crowns one could hide from the hot concrete.
The city must grow
in harmony
with inhabitants and nature
To live in a city and not just survive, it must be a cultivated ecosystem that will grow with its inhabitants. New construction must be respectful of the environment and offer facilities in which every moment can be fully utilized, whether for building relationships with neighbors, sports, or relaxation.
Just having a roof over your head is not enough.
Additional services are needed, playgrounds for children and running routes for adults, all set in aesthetically and functionally landscaped greenery. Working with greenery and being considerate of the environment is key.
A sustainable city uses
blue-green infrastructure
Only a sustainable city can be future-proof. If the brownfield is an underutilized and neglected area, then the blue-green infrastructure offers the exact opposite. The modern trend is not to build instead of nature but to densify the city, where we can fully use the potential of nature.
The symbiosis of an innovative approach to the soil with the natural one, where, for example, water is absorbed or captured and further used, leads to soil protection, is one of the measures against flooding, and also benefits the microclimate. Elements of the so-called sponge city, which also include green roofs and a general emphasis on greenery, lead to a cooling of the area and help prevent the formation of temperature islands. That is a phenomenon due to which temperature differences between Prague and the surrounding area can sometimes exceed five degrees.
